MADRID: Atletico Madrid confirmed on Monday they have agreed a deal to sign World Cup winning French striker Antoine Griezmann permanently.
“Griezmann has signed a deal that links him to our club until June 30, 2026,” said Atletico in a statement.
Griezmann, who signed for Barcelona in 2019 from Atletico for 120 million euros ($116.5 million), struggled at Camp Nou and was loaned back to Atletico in August last year.
