Delhi University 2022: Delhi University (DU) released the ‘Simulated List’ today, October 14. This is a tentative list coming a few days before the first cut-off list. This is a detail to inform the students about the college and the courses offered to them. If a student feels that there is a limited chance of getting admission in his/her preferred college or course or a better opportunity is opening up. They will have a window to change the order of preference of courses and colleges.

Delhi University has opened a ‘preference change window’ from 5 pm on October 14 which will remain open till October 16 to change its preferences. After that all the preferences will be locked to calculate the merit list.

DU said in the official notice that “Simulated rank shall not in any way constitute a warranty, express or implied, or for the creation of a valid expectation, for admission or allotment of final rank and/or program of study or college”. needed.

Let us tell you, the first merit list will be out on October 18. There will be three cut-off lists. If there are seats left after three rounds of cut-off list, spot admission will be conducted as per the schedule released by Delhi University.

October 14 – simulated list
18 October – first list
October 19- Acceptance of seats, verification of college
October 25 – Display of vacant seats
30 October – second list
November 4 – Display of vacant seats
November 10 – Third list
November 17 – First spot allocation
November 22 – Declaration of first place allotment list

This year, the university has received over 2.17 lakh applications for admission to 70,000 seats in undergraduate courses. According to university officials, more than 1.5 lakh students have selected their college-course preferences, which is about 67,000 less than the total registrations.

This is the first time that the cut-off is being made on the basis of CUET score and not on the basis of class 12 marks obtained by the students. In case the CUET scores are the same, the Class 12 score will act as a tie-breaker. Let us tell you, admissions are open for 79 undergraduate courses in 67 colleges, departments and centers.

DU has also released the academic schedule. According to the varsity, the first year classes are to start from November 2, and the semester 2 classes will start from March 20, 2023.
