People often like to eat paneer. It can be made in different ways, like milk, soy etc. However, here we are telling how to make paneer from peanuts. The texture and taste of this peanut paneer is exactly the same as compared to the store bought paneer. Peanut paneer can be used to make a variety of dishes. Know how to make it-

– Groundnut
– Vinegar
– Water

How to make paneer without milk

Put 2 cups of peanuts in a bowl and wash it well. Then fill the bowl with lukewarm water and soak the peanuts for 1 hour. Then drain all the water and put the peanuts in a blender. Add about 1/4 cup of water and mix well till a thick paste is formed. Keep in mind that the peanuts are crushed properly.

Now put peanut paste in 1 liter of water in a vessel. Keep on medium heat and keep stirring till the paste is well mixed with the water. There is no need to boil the peanut milk, after stirring it continuously for 2-3 minutes, turn off the gas.

Then keep it in a cloth to filter and take out the milk from it. Make a bundle and squeeze it well to extract all the milk. Collect the peanut milk in a vessel. In the bundle you will get groundnut pulp from which you can make barfi etc.

Now keep the utensil containing peanut milk on medium heat. Meanwhile, dissolve 1 tablespoon white vinegar in 4 tablespoons water. When the milk starts boiling, turn off the gas. Then add vinegar to it and keep stirring continuously. Once the milk starts curdling, add the remaining vinegar mixture to the pot and keep stirring. Stir the mixture until all the chhaina separates and a watery mixture remains.

When all the chhaina separates, filter it quickly. For this take a large strainer and cover it with a muslin cloth. Add cold water to the Chhaina so that it removes the smell of vinegar.

Now make a bundle out of muslin cloth and squeeze out the excess water from it. Keep the bundle in a plate. Leave it like this for 1 hour.

Your homemade paneer without milk is now ready to use. For storage, fill a bowl with water and dip the paneer in it and keep it in the fridge. Do not store it for more than two days.
