Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh C-Voter Opinion Poll 2022: Assembly elections are going to be held soon in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. Election dates in Gujarat are yet to be announced. Whereas in Himachal Pradesh, voting will be held on November 12, while the results will be declared on December 8. These are probably the last elections of the year 2022 and it is also being called the quarter final of 2024. All the teams are engaged in the preparations. In view of the election, many leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi to party President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah have come out in the field to create an atmosphere in favor of BJP.

On the other hand, despite getting entangled in the election of the Congress party president, it was engaged in the preparations for the elections. Apart from this, in this election, the Aam Aadmi Party is also throwing its strength in both the states. It is known that BJP is in power in both the states. Meanwhile, C Voter has conducted opinion polls in both the states. This survey has been done in all the assembly seats of both the states. According to the opinion poll, 54 percent of the people believed that PM Modi will be a big factor in the Himachal Pradesh elections. Whereas, 46 per cent people believed that PM Modi will not be a big factor in Himachal elections.

Further, according to the survey, 54 per cent people believed that Modi’s visit to Hindu shrines would benefit BJP in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat elections. At the same time, 46 percent of the people said that it will not benefit. At the same time, 57 percent of the people said that targeting PM Modi has caused a reverse loss to the opposition parties. Whereas, 43 per cent were those who believed that this would benefit the opposition parties.

Significantly, Himachal Pradesh has a total of 68 assembly seats. During the 2017 elections, the BJP had won 44 seats. Congress got 21, CPI(M) got one seat. Two independent candidates also became MLAs, who supported the BJP government. Later, after the death of some members, by-elections were also held, after which there was a slight change in the political equation.
