New Delhi: Reliance Jio Infocomm’s net profit rose 4.2% sequentially and 28% on-year in the fiscal quarter ended September 2022, while revenue from operations grew 2.9% sequentially and 20.2% annually during the same period. Jio posted a net profit of Rs 4,518 crore, up 4.2% sequentially from Q1FY23 and 28% higher than the same time last year.
India’s largest telecom operator posted operational revenue of Rs 22,521 crore, up 2.9% sequentially from Q1FY23 and 20.2% from the same time last year.
The company’s expenses also grew 2.6% sequentially and 18.21% on-year to Rs 16,571 crore.
Reliance Jio Infocomm is the Mukesh Ambani-owned telecom business and is part of the larger Jio Platforms Ltd.
