New Delhi: The All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked India “A” squad for the upcoming three-match one-day series against New Zealand “A” to be played in Chennai.

New Zealand A team is on a tour of India these days. The three-match ODI series between the two teams is to be played from 22nd September. India A squad has been announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for this series. The squad was selected by the All India Senior Selection Committee and its captaincy has been handed over to Sanju Samson. It is nothing less than good news for Sanju, who could not make it to the T20 World Cup squad.

All the matches of this series starting from 22 September are to be played at the M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The first match will be played on 22nd September, the second match on 25th September, and the third match will be played on 27th September.

India A squad includes big names like Prithvi Shaw, Rituraj Gaikwad, Kuldeep Yadav, Navdeep Saini, Umran Malik, Shardul Thakur, and Sanju Samson.
