The five-day long Diwali festival is starting with Dhanteras on Saturday. This year Dhanteras shopping Muhurta is from the evening of 22 October to the evening of 23 October. In such a situation, people will be able to shop for two days in an auspicious time. On Dhanteras, auspicious yogas named Brahma and Indra are also being formed.
According to the Hrishikesh Panchang published from Varanasi, the value of Dwadashi Tithi on 22nd October is Trayodashi Tithi after 4.33 pm. On this day Purva Phalguni Nakshatra will be found till 1.29 pm, then Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra and Brahma Yoga till 5.50 PM, followed by Indra (Indra) Yoga, which is very auspicious. According to Pandit Sharad Chandra Mishra, the festival of Dhanteras and Dhanvantari Jayanti will be valid on this day due to Trayodashi being in Pradosh period (at sunset). It is generally believed that people should not buy iron goods, utensils etc. on Saturday. Worship Dhanvantari for health – Pt. Narendra Upadhyay
According to Jyotishacharya Pandit Narendra Upadhyay, on this day Dhanvantari ji was born with an urn in his hands at the time of churning of the ocean. This festival is of importance for Vaidyas, because Dhanwantriji is considered the father of Ayurveda. On the day of Dhanteras, there is great importance of worshiping Dhanvantari for a disease-free life. On the day of Dhanteras, Dhanadhyaksha Kuberji is worshipped. Buying metal utensils on this day is considered auspicious. This festival is celebrated for happiness and prosperity in the house. Therefore, one should not lend on this day and should not waste money. In the evening, lamp should be donated on both sides of the main door of the house. Yamraj remains happy by donating this lamp and there is no fear of premature death. Yama should be worshiped by lighting a lamp by pouring oil in the lamp, lighting a cotton wick, pouring a penny, offering naivedya with roli, rice and jaggery. After taking bath, lamps should be lit at places like ghat, cowshed, well, temple etc. during Pradosh period.

On the second day on 23rd October, Char Bela from 7.41 minutes to 9.01 minutes, again from 9.02 am to 1.20 am, and Amrit Bela, and from 2.40 am to 4.01 am, the sum of Shubh Bela is being formed.
