Batting first after winning the toss, Sri Lanka were bundled up for a paltry 65-run total in 20 overs after losing nine wickets. For India, Renuka Singh, player of the match, bagged the maximum three wickets.

In reply, India chased down the target in just 8.3 overs after losing just two wickets. Smriti Mandhana played some classy stroked during her innings to score an unbeaten 51. In this way, the India women’s cricket team also avenged the defeat of men’s team in the ICC Men’s Aisa Cup Super-4s against Sri Lanka, last month.
