Vivah Panchami 2022 Date: The marriage of Lord Shri Ram and Mata Sita took place on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of the month of Marshish. This Panchami Tithi is falling on 28 November 2022. Since Treta Yuga, this day is celebrated as the marriage festival of Lord Shri Ram and Mother Sita. This date is known as Vivah Panchami in Sanatan tradition and Hindi Panchang. According to religious beliefs, it is considered very auspicious to get Mata Sita and Lord Ram married on this date. In many temples people celebrate Sri Sitaram marriage festival on this day. Many people in North India consider Vivah Panchami very auspicious to get their children married.

Vivah Panchami 2022 Shubh Muhurat:
According to Hindu Panchang, this year, Vivah Panchami of Shukla Paksha of Marshish month is starting on 27 November 2022 at 04.25 PM and will end on 28 November at 01.35 PM. As per Udaya Tithi, Vivah Panchami will be celebrated on 28th November this year.

There are many auspicious times on Vivah Panchami 2022.
Abhijit Muhurta will be from 11.53 am to 12.36 pm.
Amrit Kaal will be from 05:21 in the evening to 06:55 in the morning the next day.
Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga – It will be from 10.29 am to 06.55 am the next day.
Ravi Yoga will be from 10.29 am to 06.55 am the next day.

Beliefs of Vivah Panchami:
1- Fasting and worshiping on the day of Vivah Panchami removes the obstacles in marriage. One gets the boon of desired marriage.
2- On the day of Vivah Panchami, it is auspicious to recite the marriage context of Lord Ram and Mother Sita in the Balkand of Shri Ramcharit Manas. Getting married on this day on the day of Lord Rama and Mother Sita is blessed with good fortune and the life of the bride and groom becomes happy.
3- In Mithila and Nepal, Vivah Panchami is celebrated with pomp as Sita-Ram marriage day. Many people here refrain from marrying their daughter on this day. It is believed that Mother Sita had to bear various kinds of hardships throughout her life due to marriage on Vivaha Panchami Tithi.
4- By celebrating the marriage ceremony of Shri Sitaram, virtue is attained.
